Health Pass for members of the EU

The digital Anti-Covid certificate issued by the EU is recognised across the whole of Europe, but each country is responsible for its own rules for entering the country, as they have not been standardised across Europe.

We therefore recommend you check the rules for entering your country of destination (there and back) with the appropriate authorities, before travelling.

In the whole department of Savoie, the wearing of a mask is compulsory for any person aged 11 years or more in the following cases

- when accessing gatherings, meetings or activities organised on the public highway or in places open to the public creating a concentration of more than 10 people;

- in markets, flea markets, unpacking sales or similar activities;

- in queues that may form around stadiums, theatres and projection rooms, sports facilities and marquees/tents, amusement arcades, museums and railway stations, shops and cultural facilities.

It is also compulsory to wear a mask in lift queues, in cable cars and also in bars, restaurants, cinemas, museums, etc. The resort applies the national rule.

The health pass AND face masks are compulsory when using the ski lifts, and while you are waiting in the queues. Specialised staff may be present to check, and you will be issued with a warning if the rules are not respected.

This will be checked at the departure for the ski lifts and when you purchase your ski passes from the desks.

Masks must be worn everywhere throughout the resort.

From 15/01, following the French Prime Minister's announcement on Monday 27/12/2021, presenting the project to transform the health pass into a vaccination pass "for access to leisure activities, restaurants and drinking establishments, trade fairs, seminars and trade shows or inter-regional transport", the health pass requirement should be transformed into a vaccination pass requirement for access to ski lifts, bars and restaurants.

The entry requirements in France have become stricter. Only passengers with a compelling reason are allowed to travel to/from the United Kingdom. All vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers must present a negative test result taken within 24 hours pre-departure.

Before they travel, anyone coming from the UK will be required to register on a digital platform allowing them, among other things, to provide the address for their stay in France. Finally, all travellers must self-isolate on arrival for 48 hours in the event of a negative test, and for 7 days in the event of a positive test.

These measures have been in effect since 18 December 2021.

If you have booked a stay and you want to postpone your stay or get a refund, please contact your host to find out about the cancellation terms and conditions.
